Farmhouse Kitchen Thai CuisineEverything about this place is made and designed for the digital native (and perhaps the digital immigrants like myself). The food is an experience even right down to opening the basket containing rice from the Kai Yang.
We got in line right at 12n on the day after Christmas, and there were already equally eager patrons waiting in line. We did not have a reservation, but we got seated immediately. I was nervous that we would have to wait a long while, but that wasn't the case this time around. The person at the host table asked for ID's and a matching vaccination card. They requested that all patrons be masked and a few seemed surprised that we still had to be masked? Not sure why that was a surprise, but I thought the host handled it well.
I had the Kai Sam Ros and it was so flavorful. You could taste the sweetness from the pineapple and a delicious fish flavor to add to the crispy sticky chicken...of course served in a pineapple dish. Don't be afraid of the blue rice! It's part of the experience.
My partner ordered the crispy branzino and he ate the whole thing and his mother had the Kai yang and enjoyed every part of it.
We were too full to order dessert this time around, but I will probably order it next time I come back.
